This past Saturday September 26, 2009 one month’s worth of rainfall fell and 26 areas in Luzon were declared to be in a state of calamity as houses were inundated in flood waters. Currently, the death toll from the wake of Tropical Storm Ondoy has reached up to one hundred while there are still others who are missing. According to reports, 109 Million worth of infrastructure was damaged while and estimated more than 200 thousand worth of damage was done to crops. Homes and cars were destroyed by the floods and Millions of families are displaced, left without shelter and food. The floods destroy the homes and everything inside; it is the same as being the victim of a fire. They need food, clothes, and financial aid. Give help today.
